This past weekend was a long one to celebrate Heritage Day  on Friday, 24 September. It could not have come at a better time when South Africans were craving some time out in the sun, to play and have fun, having recently returned to Lockdown level 2. 

Downtown Braamfontein (Johannesburg) was a hype of activity, thanks to Castle Milk Stout who together with Tshepo Jeans hosted a pop-up store at Artivist. The weather also played along, if 28 degrees in the late afternoon is your kind of weather. Luckily Castle Milk Stout provided a variety of drinks to cool the crowds down, music and food were also aplenty to ensure a laid-back Friday entertainment for the chosen few. 

Various media organisations were in attendance, the likes of Exit, Channel Africa and social media personalities such as Phil Mphela and Kgomotso Aphane to mention a few. Tshepo himself was around, meeting and mingling with the guests. 

A shout out and much gratitude to Castle Milk Stout’s brand manager, Khensani Mkhombo and Tshepo Jeans’ owner, designer and PR manager, Tshepo Mohlala, who partnered to make the event the huge success that it was!
