As a fashion blogger, I found that it was important for one to have a few pieces to wear as most of you know that minimalistic fashion is in style nowadays. No matter how much fashion changes, these five items will not and will never go out of style.

White shirt

Everyone, regardless of gender, needs a crisp white shirt which can be dressed down or dressed up. A white shirt is a wardrobe staple that you can wear with jeans, formal pants, a skirt or shorts and still be stylish.

Blue jeans

Blue jeans, no matter the shade, will always be a good fashion piece that can be worn to the office, for brunch, for a dinner and still worn for a casual meet. The trick is in the shoes and top that you pair it with, but always keep it simple and classy to maintain an effortless style.

White Sneakers

As a fashionable person, let’s address the issue of dirty sneakers as a fashion statement, that is not in style, please! It’s dirty shoes, wash them and see how fresh you feel wearing them. These are cute because you can pair them with any type of outfit, from dresses to skirts to jeans to office wear, also, you must pair it with stylish accessories.

Every fashionista needs a pair of stylish, well-fitting shades that you can wear as sun blockers or as an accessory for those days when you don’t want to wear makeup, but want to look effortlessly fabulous. Invest in a pair of good designer shades that will last you longer. It is also important to learn how to take care of your shades (do some research) so they last you even longer.

Nothing is as unattractive as a person who fills their pockets with things (chargers, phone, money, cards etc). No matter your gender, invest in a good handbag that you can carry everywhere and can fit your essentials. It’s always important to be able to have a bag that is durable, good quality and aesthetically pleasing for your day-to-day life.

Above all else, it is important to be intentional when shopping for clothes. The biggest mistake we make is buying clothes that do not complement our existing wardrobe pieces. Consider pieces that are flexible, versatile and that you will use repeatedly to get the true value from the piece.
